How does the Surfbark Drying Robe dry dogs so fast?
Our robe uses a quick-drying dual-layer microfiber system. The inner layer rapidly wicks moisture directly from your dog’s dense undercoat, while the outer shell keeps water locked away from your floors and furniture.
Will this work for heavy or double-coated breeds?
Yes! It is specifically engineered for thick undercoats.
Pro Tip: For extremely dense double coats, letting your dog wear the robe for 20–30 minutes absorbs the bulk of the water, making a quick follow-up blow-dry effortless.
Is the robe machine washable?
Absolutely. Machine wash cold or warm with mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry on low. Avoid fabric softeners or bleach to keep the microfiber absorbency at 100%.
Can my dog walk or run around freely while wearing it?
Yes! The robe features rear leg straps and a secure underbelly buckle designed to keep it comfortably anchored in place, even when your dog runs, lays down, or does full-body shakes.
Will it trap wet-dog smell or lint?
No. Our high-density microfiber is engineered to lock in moisture without shedding lint on fur, and it dries quickly post-use to prevent damp odors from building up.
Sizing & Fit
What if my dog is between two sizes?
We always recommend prioritizing Chest Circumference & Back Length first, as that ensures a comfortable and snug fit around the body. If your dog has a thicker chest or heavy coat and falls between sizes, size up! Still unsure? Email us at support@surfbark.com with your pup's measurements and we'll pick the size for you.
How do I pick the right size for my dog?
Measure your dog’s Back Length (from the base of the collar to the base of the tail) and Chest Circumference. Check our Size Chart on the product page. If your dog falls between sizes, we recommend prioritizing the chest measurement first.
What if the robe slips when my dog shakes?
Unlike standard wraps, Surfbark features a 3-point secure system (belly buckle, elastic neck toggle, and non-slip rear leg straps) designed to keep the robe centered during full-body shakes.
Ordering & Shipping
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are processed within 1–2 business days. Standard tracked shipping typically takes 3–5 business days depending on your location.
Can I change or cancel my order after placing it?
Orders cannot be canceled once placed due to fast processing. However, if you need to update a size, color or address, email support@surfbark.com right away and we’ll do our best to help before it ships!
What if I order the wrong size?
No problem at all! We offer easy 30-day size exchanges. Simply order the correct size on our site and reach out to support, we’ll provide a prepaid label to send the original one back for a full refund.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, Surfbark ships exclusively within the United States. We are working hard to expand internationally in the future!
What is your return policy?
